Vision for Sustainable Urban Expansion

Project Team’s Vision

Our vision is to create an exemplar sustainable extension to Bradford on Avon.
The development will be sensitive to its environment, history and future, by drawing on its heritage and legacies
whilst giving due consideration to local needs through in-depth engagement with our key stakeholders.

Project Launch Open Day

We were pleased to welcome over 300 visitors to our initial open day at St Margaret’s Hall
on Friday 26 March 2010. The information on display and further updates on the project
as it develops will be available on this website.

Due consideration to be given to the
Cycle Network

Identifying the right industries to promote
for employment opportunities;
consult Think BOA

Create housing that young people,
the future of BOA, can afford to buy

Summary:

Overall, the feedback was very positive and we were encouraged to find that local people are keen to feed in ideas and concerns to shape the development designs as they progress. This development is about securing a green, sustainable future for the estate and we hope to make this a trail-blazing project for the town; we want you to be a part of this.
